In all honesty

What Chaipa doesn't have (yet)

A comparison that only shows its own strengths is not a comparison. Here is where the others keep the edge today.

Where Chaipa stands out

Why try Chaipa

Frequently asked

Chaipa, TiviMate or Smarters?

Chaipa or TiviMate: which one should I choose?
TiviMate is the benchmark for dense, highly configurable interfaces, with multiview and Stalker portal support. Chaipa focuses on a Netflix-style interface, a TV guide provided and completed automatically, catch-up with a dedicated replay search, live recording, online subtitles and offline downloads. If your channels have poor EPG data or you want a streaming-style experience, try Chaipa; if multiview or Stalker are essential, TiviMate remains an excellent choice.
Can I switch from TiviMate or IPTV Smarters to Chaipa?
Yes. All three apps read the same sources: an M3U playlist or an Xtream Codes account (username, password, server URL). Simply enter the same credentials in Chaipa — your IPTV subscription stays unchanged. The free demo playlist also lets you try Chaipa without touching your current setup.
Can Chaipa record live TV?
Yes. Chaipa records the channel you are watching to the device's storage, without opening an extra connection to your provider, and keeps your recordings in a dedicated tab. TiviMate also offers recording; IPTV Smarters Pro mentions it in its documentation.
Does Chaipa support Stalker portals?
Not currently. Chaipa reads M3U Plus playlists and Xtream Codes accounts. If your provider only offers a Stalker portal, TiviMate supports it. Most providers, however, also offer M3U or Xtream access.
Is this comparison unbiased?
It is written by the Chaipa team, so read it as such — but every fact about TiviMate and IPTV Smarters Pro comes from their official sources (Google Play listings, the publishers' websites), checked on August 2, 2026. When a feature is not officially documented, we mark it "—" rather than guessing. Spotted an error? Write to us and we will fix it.
